1. Welcome to Voice of Yours

Voice of Yours ("VOY," "we," "us," or "our") is a place for trusted human opinion. People use VOY to write and discover reviews, save places and experiences, share photos and videos, find things to do, and decide who they may want to do them with. We want to be the home for reviews and a lasting source of trust, not a marketplace for people's personal data.

These Terms govern the website, mobile app, APIs, and other services we provide (together, the "Service"). By using the Service, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

2. Who may use VOY

You must be at least 13 years old, or older if the law where you live requires it. Dating, adult matching, and other social features that require adult eligibility are for people who are at least 18. We may restrict or remove access if we cannot verify that an account meets the applicable age requirement.

By using VOY, you represent that you can enter into these Terms and that the information you give us is accurate. Do not create an account for someone else, create more than one account to evade a restriction, or use VOY if you are prohibited from doing so by law.

3. Your account and sign-in

VOY uses passwordless sign-in links sent to the email address on your account. Keep access to that email account secure. Do not forward a sign-in link or allow someone else to use your account. You are responsible for activity carried out through your account and should contact us promptly if you believe it was accessed without permission.

Your email address is used as your account identity and may not be changed by editing a public profile. You may update other available profile details through the Service or ask us for help.

4. Reviews, taste signals, and content

You keep ownership of the reviews, ratings, photos, videos, lists, messages, profile information, and other material you submit ("User Content"). You give VOY a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, store, reproduce, format, adapt, display, perform, and distribute User Content only as needed to operate, secure, improve, and promote the Service. This license ends for content we remove from active systems, except where we need it for backups, safety, legal obligations, dispute resolution, or content already shared by other users.

You are responsible for your User Content. You must have the rights and permissions needed to post it, and you must not post someone's private information, image, voice, or work without permission. Public reviews and public profile details may be seen, copied, or reshared by other people. Think carefully before posting anything you would not want to be public.

VOY is built around honest opinion. Reviews should reflect a real experience. Do not create fake reviews, manipulate ratings, review a competitor dishonestly, accept undisclosed compensation for a review, retaliate against another reviewer, or pressure someone to change a truthful opinion. We may label, limit, hide, or remove content that appears misleading, unsafe, unlawful, or inconsistent with these Terms.

Your reactions, saves, lists, reviews, follows, skips, and other choices help VOY understand your taste. We use those signals to recommend better places and experiences, and, when you choose social features, to suggest people who may enjoy doing them with you. A taste signal is not a public endorsement unless you make it public, and it is never sold.

5. Things to do with other people

VOY may help you discover events, make plans, exchange messages, and find people with compatible interests. These are suggestions, not promises. We do not conduct criminal background checks, guarantee someone's identity or behavior, or guarantee that a recommendation, match, event, venue, or plan will be safe, available, affordable, suitable, or enjoyable.

Use good judgment. Meet new people in public places, tell someone you trust where you are going, protect your private information, and leave or report any situation that feels unsafe. You are responsible for your decisions and interactions with other users, organizers, venues, and businesses.

Event details, capacity, schedules, prices, tickets, and availability can change. Unless we expressly say otherwise, the organizer or venue is responsible for the event and its terms. Payment providers and organizers may have separate refund and cancellation rules.

6. Acceptable use

You may not use VOY to:

• Break the law, threaten or harm people, stalk, harass, exploit, discriminate against, or impersonate anyone.
• Post fraud, spam, malware, illegal material, hate, sexual exploitation, non-consensual intimate material, or knowingly false allegations.
• Publish private contact details, precise location, financial information, health information, or other sensitive information about someone without permission.
• Manipulate reviews, ratings, recommendations, social matching, event capacity, or other platform signals.
• Scrape, crawl, copy, harvest, reverse engineer, probe, overload, or interfere with the Service or its security.
• Use automation, bots, or multiple accounts to mislead people, evade enforcement, or gain an unfair advantage.
• Use VOY for unauthorized advertising, solicitation, resale, recruiting, surveillance, or commercial data collection.
• Upload content that you do not have the right to use or that violates another person's privacy, publicity, intellectual-property, or contractual rights.

7. AI, recommendations, and tools

VOY may use automated systems and third-party AI tools to organize content, answer questions, transcribe voice, generate or edit media, and make recommendations. AI output can be incomplete, inaccurate, biased, or out of date. It is not professional medical, legal, financial, employment, or safety advice. Check important information yourself and do not rely on VOY or AI output for an emergency or high-stakes decision.

8. Payments and subscriptions

Some features may be free and others may require payment. Payments may be processed by Stripe, Apple, Google, RevenueCat, or another payment provider. We do not receive or store your full payment-card number. Prices, taxes, billing periods, renewal terms, and cancellation instructions are shown before purchase or controlled by the provider through which you subscribe.

Cancel through the same provider or store used for the purchase. Unless mandatory law or the applicable provider requires otherwise, payments are non-refundable. We may change, discontinue, or limit a paid feature, but we will not take away a refund right that the law or your purchase terms give you.

9. Our intellectual property

VOY, our name, logos, design, software, databases, features, and original materials are owned by or licensed to us and are protected by law. These Terms give you permission to use the Service for personal, lawful purposes; they do not transfer ownership or grant you a license to copy our brand or code.

10. Suspension and account deletion

You may stop using VOY and request deletion of your account through the available account controls or by contacting us. We may suspend, restrict, or terminate access when reasonably necessary to protect users, investigate abuse, comply with law, collect an amount due, or enforce these Terms. Where practical, we will explain the reason and give you a chance to appeal, but we may act immediately when safety or security requires it.

Account deletion removes or de-identifies personal data through our deletion process, subject to information we must keep for legal, security, payment, fraud-prevention, dispute, or accounting reasons. Content already copied or reshared by others may remain outside our control.

11. Disclaimers and limits on liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE." WE DO NOT PROMISE THAT IT WILL ALWAYS BE AVAILABLE, SECURE, ERROR-FREE, COMPLETE, CURRENT, OR FIT FOR YOUR PARTICULAR PURPOSE. WE DO NOT PROMISE ANY REVIEW, RATING, PERSON, BUSINESS, EVENT, ORGANIZER, VENUE, OR AI OUTPUT IS ACCURATE OR SAFE.

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, VOY AND ITS OWNERS, TEAM MEMBERS, AFFILIATES, LICENSORS, AND SERVICE PROVIDERS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, EXEMPLARY, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR LOST PROFITS, DATA, GOODWILL, OR OPPORTUNITIES, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR A CLAIM RELATING TO THE SERVICE WILL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US FOR THE SERVICE IN THE 12 MONTHS BEFORE THE EVENT GIVING RISE TO THE CLAIM OR $100. These limits do not apply where the law does not allow them and do not remove rights that cannot legally be waived.

12. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms as VOY grows, features change, or the law changes. We will post the updated version here and change the date above. For a material change, we will provide additional notice when reasonably possible. If you keep using VOY after the effective date, you accept the updated Terms. If you do not agree, stop using the Service and contact us about closing your account.
