VOY / Legal
Privacy Policy
Last updated: September 8, 2026
1. Our promise to you
Voice of Yours ("VOY," "we," "us," or "our") is built around reviews, trust, and human opinion. We use information to run VOY, keep people safer, and help each person discover better things to do and people to do them with.
We do not sell your personal information. We do not rent, trade, or broker your identity, reviews, taste signals, messages, precise location, or other personal data. We have no plans to sell your data. We may share limited information with service providers that help us operate VOY, when you ask us to share it, when content is public by design, or when the law requires it. Those disclosures are not sales of your data.
2. What we collect
We collect only what we need for the features you use, and some information is optional. Depending on how you use VOY, this may include:
- Account information: email address, username, display name, account type, profile photo, bio, settings, and sign-in or referral information. VOY uses passwordless email links rather than account passwords.
- Your content: reviews, ratings, photos, videos, comments, lists, saved items, follows, messages, reports, event plans, RSVPs, tickets, and other things you choose to create or share.
- Taste and social signals: what you review, save, like, skip, visit, react to, search for, or add to a list, plus preferences you provide for recommendations, Meet, or Date.
- Location information: a home city or location you provide, approximate or precise device location when you grant permission, and locations connected to events, venues, routes, or places you view. You can decline device location permission; some nearby features may then be less useful.
- Technical and usage information: IP address, browser and device information, app version, session information, security events, error reports, pages and features used, and interactions with the Service.
- Notifications: device or push-token information and your notification choices if you enable push notifications.
- Payments and subscriptions: purchase, subscription, ticket, billing-status, and provider identifiers. Payment providers process card and payment details; VOY does not store your full card number.
- Information you send to AI features: prompts, conversations, voice recordings or transcripts, images, and related context when you choose to use Navi or another AI-powered feature.
- Information from others: content or reports that mention you, event or plan activity involving you, and information from identity, payment, hosting, communications, safety, or analytics providers.
3. How we use information
We use information for these purposes:
- To create and secure your account, send sign-in links, and provide the Service.
- To show reviews, profiles, lists, events, plans, and messages to the people and audiences you choose.
- To use taste signals to give you better recommendations for places and experiences, and, if you choose Meet or Date, to suggest people who may enjoy doing them with you.
- To find nearby places and events, estimate distance or travel time, and support location-aware features you request.
- To support messages, RSVPs, tickets, plans, payments, subscriptions, customer service, and notifications.
- To detect fraud, spam, abuse, unsafe behavior, account compromise, and violations of our Terms; to moderate content; and to protect users and the Service.
- To operate, troubleshoot, measure, and improve VOY, including through aggregated or de-identified analytics.
- To provide AI-powered answers, transcription, media tools, and recommendations when you ask for them.
- To comply with law, enforce our agreements, respond to lawful requests, and protect rights, safety, and property.
4. Taste signals are for better experiences, not advertising sales
Taste is central to VOY. Your reviews, lists, saves, reactions, skips, and related choices help us understand what you like and what you may want to try next. They help us recommend things to do and, only when you opt into social features, people to do them with. They are not a product we sell, a list we rent, or an advertising audience we broker.
We may use aggregated or de-identified patterns, such as broad counts or trends, to understand the Service and improve recommendations. We do not use that language to promise that every data point can always be made anonymous, but we do not sell those patterns as personal profiles.
5. What is public and what we share
Some VOY features are public by design. A public review, rating, profile detail, list, photo, video, or comment may be visible to other users, search engines, businesses, or anyone who can access the relevant page. Other features, such as private messages, private plans, and private taste data, are intended for the people authorized to see them. Review the audience and privacy controls before you post.
We may share information:
- With the people, businesses, venues, organizers, or plan participants needed to deliver a feature you choose.
- With vendors that host data, send email, process payments, provide storage, deliver push notifications, support maps and geocoding, provide analytics, or help us operate and secure VOY.
- With AI providers when needed to answer a prompt, transcribe audio, or perform an AI feature you request.
- With professional advisers, insurers, or a successor in a merger, acquisition, financing, reorganization, or sale of some or all business assets, subject to appropriate confidentiality and legal protections.
- With law enforcement, regulators, courts, or other parties when required by law or reasonably necessary to protect people, rights, safety, or the Service.
- With your permission or at your direction.
A service provider may process information only to provide services to us or as otherwise allowed by law. We do not authorize vendors to sell your personal information for their own advertising purposes.
6. Service providers and transfers
Depending on the feature and environment, VOY may use providers such as Replit and Neon for hosting and databases, Cloudflare R2 or other storage providers for media, Brevo or email infrastructure for messages, Stripe and RevenueCat for payments and subscriptions, Mapbox and Google services for maps or location tools, Expo or Apple/Google notification services for push delivery, and OpenRouter, OpenAI, Google, or similar providers for requested AI features. These providers may process information in countries different from yours. We select providers for the role they perform and require appropriate protections where applicable.
7. Cookies, local storage, and analytics
VOY uses cookies, local storage, session storage, and similar technologies to keep you signed in, remember settings, support security, understand performance, and measure product usage. We may collect page views, interactions, errors, and broad device information for operations and analytics. We do not use your taste profile to sell targeted advertising, and we do not operate a data-broker business.
Your browser or device may provide controls for cookies, permissions, and notifications. Turning them off can prevent parts of VOY from working.
8. Security and retention
We use access controls, authentication protections, encrypted connections, monitoring, and other safeguards designed to protect information. No internet service is perfectly secure, so we cannot promise absolute security. Help us by protecting your email account and reporting suspected unauthorized access.
We keep information for as long as needed to provide the Service, honor your choices, resolve disputes, prevent abuse, meet accounting or payment obligations, comply with law, and protect our rights. When you delete your account, we run our account-deletion process. Some records may remain for legal, safety, fraud-prevention, payment, dispute, or backup purposes for as long as reasonably necessary.
9. Your choices and rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to ask for access, correction, deletion, portability, restriction, or a copy of your personal information, or to object to certain uses. You may also withdraw permission for device location or push notifications through your device settings and adjust available account preferences.
To make a privacy request, email voiceofyoursllc@gmail.com. We may need to verify your identity before completing a request, and some information may be exempt or retained under law. We will not discriminate against you for exercising a privacy right.
10. Children
VOY is not intended for children under 13, or the higher minimum age required where they live. Dating and adult matching features require users to be at least 18. If you believe a child has provided personal information to VOY, contact us and we will investigate and take appropriate steps.
11. International processing
VOY and our providers may store or process information in the United States or other countries. Those countries may have privacy laws different from the laws where you live. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards for international transfers.
12. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy when our Service, providers, or legal obligations change. We will post the new version here and update the date above. If a change is material, we will provide additional notice when reasonably possible.
