James Beard Award-winning Chef Tyson Cole's acclaimed Japanese restaurant, now in DC's Dupont Circle. Uchi — meaning 'home' in Japanese — takes a nontraditional approach to Japanese cuisine, pairing refined sushi technique with inventive flavor combinations. Standout dishes include hama chili (yellowtail, ponzu, thai chili), wagyu hot rock, and sake tom kha. Daily happy hour 4–6pm, omakase tastings, and an intimate private dining space.
