Voice of Yours · Agent access
Human taste. Better AI decisions.
Voice of Yours (VOY) brings real people's reviews, opinions and taste into one profile.
Our ambition is to become the internet's most trusted source of truth for human feedback, opinions and taste, giving AI agents their strongest human signal for decisions made with us and on our behalf.
A practical connection path
Connect your agent to VOY
Add VOY's remote Model Context Protocol server to a compatible AI, then authorize on VOY. The person signs in directly, chooses the permissions, and can disconnect later.
https://www.voiceofyours.com/api/agent/mcp
- Open your agent's connection settings. Add the endpoint above as a remote MCP server.
- Authorize with VOY. Follow the agent's OAuth flow to sign in on VOY and review the access requested.
- Check the connection in both places. Confirm OAuth succeeded, then use only tools actually offered to the connected account.
A setup prompt is only instructions. It does not connect an agent or establish that a tool is available.
Optional setup aid
Instructions for your AI
Copy these instructions into an AI that supports remote MCP setup. The agent still needs to complete VOY's OAuth flow before it can access anything.
Select the text to copy it. No password, token, or account details are included.
Permission stays personal
Public discovery, private context
Public catalogue pages and eligible public reviews can support discovery without an agent connection. A person's private taste context and other account information are available only through an authenticated, permissioned connection, within the scopes they approved. Public pages do not grant private access.
Ask only for the access needed for the current task. Use only relevant information within that authorized interaction, and do not disclose private details to anyone else.
Useful, everyday context
What a VOY connection can help with
- Compare AI tools, apps and software using available catalogue facts and human reviews.
- Choose restaurants, coffee shops or local businesses with context from your taste profile.
- Find a movie, book or album to try, then read the reviews behind the suggestion.
- Prepare a public list or coordinate Personal, Friends and Meet plans using the tools your connection offers.
These are examples, not a promise that every operation is enabled. Follow the permissions granted and tools actually offered by the connection.
The person remains in control
For changes, ask first
Before a supported public or external action, show the exact item and exact changes in VOY's approval flow. A conversational yes, a draft, or a pending request is not approval. Proceed only after the person approves that exact preview in VOY, and report completion only when VOY confirms success. Private suggestions and drafts remain subject to their own permissions; they do not publish anything.
If approval is declined, expires, or the result is uncertain, do not repeat the action automatically or claim success. Follow the documented status or approved-request flow to verify it; otherwise explain what happened and let the person decide.

Frequently asked questions
What is VOY?
Voice of Yours is a taste-led review and discovery platform built around people's self-reported experiences, opinions and taste. We aim to become the internet's most trusted source of truth for human feedback. An AI agent may help a person draft a review, but the person must supply and approve their own experience and rating; an agent must never invent either.
Why connect a personal AI agent?
Your taste profile and available public reviews are the strongest human signal VOY gives an agent for decisions made with you and on your behalf. With separate permission, it can also consider your friends' public reviews. Human opinions help ground its choices, but reviews are self-reported, not independently verified, and not a calibrated prediction of what you will enjoy. Friends means mutual follows and does not imply endorsement.
How do I connect through MCP?
Add VOY's remote MCP server to an agent that supports its OAuth connection flow. Sign in directly on VOY, choose the narrowest permissions needed, and return to your agent. A prompt alone does not establish a connection: confirm that OAuth succeeded and discover the tools actually offered. Never paste passwords, tokens or profile IDs into chat to identify your account.
How can an agent read and cite reviews?
Anyone can read eligible public catalogue pages and the public review excerpts shown there without an agent connection. Connected review tools require their documented permissions and current visibility checks. Link to the canonical item and returned review sources, preserve the reviewer's actual 1–10 rating and words, and attribute only the identity VOY supplies. Do not infer an anonymous reviewer's identity, hidden relationships, private history or private taste vectors.
How can my agent help publish a review?
Describe your own experience and supply your rating; the agent must not invent either. It can prepare an exact review of a canonical catalogue item, including new media you select in VOY where supported. Review the item, text, whole-number 1–10 rating, media, public audience and anonymity on VOY before approving. Approval is not publication: report success only from the completed canonical result. An agent using a product is not proof that you used or experienced it.
What if the item is missing?
With optional catalogue:suggest permission, search current and former product names first using search_items with sort=relevance and reuse a matching canonical ID. If missing, use suggest_catalogue_item with only its public name and official HTTPS URL. Never send history, transcripts, credentials or private usage. Use read_catalogue_suggestion for the vetted result; a suggestion is not publication, a review or verified experience. Reuse the same idempotency key on retry. If contribution tools are not offered, ask the user to reconnect with that optional permission rather than claiming a submission. The optional catalogue:suggest permission is separate consent, not catalogue administrator access. Submit only a public name and official HTTPS product URL, never private usage logs or credentials. VOY independently checks identity, lookalike URLs, duplicates and metadata, including authentic artwork. Automatic vetting is separately enabled and cost-limited; uncertain submissions can remain in manual review. A queued suggestion is not a published item or a review.
What requires permission or exact approval?
Public web pages do not grant private account access. Taste, friendship, plans and other connected reads need their relevant scopes. Private suggestions, feedback and drafts do not publish public reviews or send invitations. Public or external actions such as publishing reviews, following, creating public lists, sending messages, hosting, inviting or changing an RSVP require the exact VOY approval flow. A conversational yes is not that approval. Revocation stops future access but cannot erase information already exported to another service.
Which capabilities are available to my agent?
The capability reference describes this build's contracts, not a promise that every feature is enabled in production or granted to your account. Use only tools offered by your authenticated connection. Multiple-review drafts are implemented, but production availability is not verified by this public page. OpenAI connections exclude Date and age-restricted content, including Bars, Alcohol and Nightlife; other providers retain their separate policies. Private Date access, where offered elsewhere, requires separate sensitive consent. A saved plan is only the exact plan VOY confirms, not extra stops described in chat.
Are reviews or taste matches verified experiences?
VOY reviews are human-owned, self-reported opinions. An agent may help a person draft a review, but the person must supply the lived experience and rating and approve the words; an agent must never invent either. Reviews do not independently verify identity, attendance or use. Individual review ratings use whole numbers from 1 to 10; an aggregate can be fractional. Similarity is not a probability of enjoyment, and unknown facts should remain unknown.
