Lady Bird is an indoor-outdoor rooftop lounge atop the Kimpton Banneker Hotel at 1315 16th St NW, with stunning White House and Washington Monument views set against fire pits and lush botanicals. Named for First Lady Claudia 'Lady Bird' Johnson, the space serves craft cocktail signatures — the Hummingbird (gin, yellow Chartreuse, pineapple, vanilla), Wood Thrush (dark rum, cinnamon, fernet), classic martinis and botanical highballs — alongside French-influenced small bites from sister restaurant Le Sel: goat cheese beignets, heirloom tomato tartines, lobster rolls, and charcuterie boards. Open Wed-Sat from 5 PM (call ahead as space may host private events). One of DC's most beautiful rooftop atmospheres.
