Just saw obsession (yea im late) and WOW. I’m not a scary / thriller films guy. I feel like the jump scare is all they want and if you’re not scared then the storyline is otherwise pointless. This one felt not only well written in terms of plot but the acting was really good. The one wish willow premise hooked me, the way Nikki acted and was battling internally was super interesting. I think the friends could have been a bit more concerned but whatever. The ending was amazing too.. it left you wondering.. which all good psychological thrillers do. It was scary af to me cause it felt kinda real.. maybe thats a me problem but go see this fr and in theaters if you can.. I saw it at AMC georgetown and the side comments from ppl in there actually made it better 😭
