GWARbar is Richmond's most legendary themed bar — a temple to the theatrical heavy metal band GWAR, born right here in Richmond. Set in a converted warehouse in Jackson Ward, GWARbar is a fully immersive experience: GWAR memorabilia and artwork cover every surface, while the bar pours an eclectic selection of craft beers, shots, and cocktails alongside a menu of outrageously named (and genuinely delicious) bar food. Happy hour Mon–Fri 4–7pm with $2 tall boys, $3.75 well drinks, and $8 PBR pitchers.
