Little Blackbird
Bars
Little Blackbird is an artisan wine bar in Cleveland Park from the Knightsbridge Restaurant Group (Ashok Bajaj). Named after the French word for Merlot, the bar embodies that grape's approachable, versatile nature — pairing a global, eclectic wine list with small plates and hearth-roasted dishes by Chef Ryan Moore (formerly Minibar by José Andrés). Awarded Best Wine Bar 2026 by Newsweek and nominated for Wine Program of the Year at the RAMMYS.

Went here yesterday for the first time. The waiter said ‘we’ve been voted best wine bar in the country’ which sounds like some bs but newsweek actually did say that about them 🤨.. so I was pleasantly surprised and looked like the GUY for suggesting it. We stayed for 2 hours or so, had a few glasses and I had the mussles appetizer. What stood out to me was the service (our waiter was super friendly and loved to help suggest wine pairings), and the menu (wine paired with cheetoes or wine paired with twinkies 😮). They are VERY serious about wine and what you paid it with. I didn’t try the wine with cheetoes even though my waiter was desperate for me to but we had a good enough time that I will have to try it when I come back 🍷.
